Rotta Segreta — Secret Route — is the name of this project because, in many ways, it reflects a particular path. This wine is the first step of a journey that starts in Tuscany, but that will continue to evolve.
Last year, almost by chance, I found myself in a conversation with a consultant winemaker I deeply respect. We were talking about wines, about territories, about how much there still is to discover beyond the most well-known names.

At a certain point, a simple idea came up: what if, instead of only telling stories about wine, I started selecting one — personally? A wine that had truly surprised me. One that I felt I could stand behind completely.
The label tells part of that story. You'll see migrating wild geese crossing the sky, tracing a route that feels instinctive and free. In the background, the outline of Monte Amiata — quietly present, almost like a reference point. A simple image, but one that holds the idea of movement, direction, and discovery.
